Petrochemicals Data Analyst

Number of Openings – 4

Key responsibilities

The candidate should be able to maintain the back end of our internal database.

Collect, validate and continuously track the following data for the Petrochemicals Industry:

  • Installed capacity, capacity expansion, plant shutdown schedule details from operational public data found in corporate filings, news releases, presentations, and other sources of disclosure
  • Imports and exports from publicly available data
  • Track the companies across the end use industries such as automotive, construction, packaging etc.
  • Conduct analyst briefings on top trends across the Industry
  • Able to conduct effective primary research with qualitative and quantitative insights

Desired profile

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related fields such as Chemicals Engineering Chemistry, Business or Economics
  • Experience in energy or petrochemicals is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrated structured problem solving and analytical skills

 

Manager Petrochemicals Solutions

Number of Openings – 1

Key responsibilities

  • The desired candidate should be able to create, format, and customize charts and graphs used in insight reports and presentations
  • Basic understanding of petrochemicals value chain such as feedstock dynamics, supply demand analysis, trade balance scenario, industry growth drivers, price drivers, substitution analysis etc.
  • Able to do the quality check of the data collected by the analysts
  • Sales support: Should support the sales team with the actual data on 1 or 2 slides. First level scoping should be done
  • Client management: He / She should be able to discuss the clients effectively
  • Communication skills: Should have good written and oral communication
  • He / she should be able to answer client questions that relate to database use, definitions, and methodology
  • Deliver supporting data, ad hoc query support, and performing data analysis as requested
  • Team Management: Able to handle team of 4-5 analysts
  • Able to provide the solutions to the analysts

Desired profile

  • A minimum of a Post Graduate degree in a related fields such as MBA, Chemicals Engineering Chemistry, Business or Economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy or petrochemicals is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS office and other tools
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrated structured problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good team player
